When you make a purchase of live ladybugs from us you are acknowledging that
you have read and understand the terms and conditions presented forthwith.
As part of the description you are being informed that you may experience some DOA bugs and there will be no refunds or replacements if tracking shows delivery to a mailbox, parcel locker, porch, doorstep or anywhere other than to a person. If you can not be there to receive the package, do not make a purchase. Fair warning. This is part of the description, you can not use "significantly not as described" as a reason to return the package if it falls into the reasons presented above.
Ladybugs are heat sensitive and when exposed to high temperatures they will die.
It is your responsibility to have someone available to receive your package when
delivered. A tracking number is provided with every shipment so you are able to
determine when delivery will take place.  If you can not have someone available
you can contact your local post office and request they hold for pick up. Packages
left by the carrier in a mailbox, parcel locker, or unattended any place outdoors
such as porches, door steps, patios, etc. may result in dead ladybugs. If you receive
a package with DOA bugs in excess of 10% we will replace or refund the appropriate
pro rated amount unless tracking shows delivery to a mailbox, parcel locker or
anywhere other than a person. We do not refund or replace under those circumstances
There may be exceptions that would be decided on an individual basis.  You are
welcome to request a refund through ebay and any claims will require the return of
all bugs, packaging, inserts that were received when delivered.  You should inspect the
ladybugs when received, before releasing them so if there are dead bugs you will have
them to return. If you have any questions, ask, we will respond as soon as possible.
Do not expect an instant reply, We are only available to answer on Tuesdays and
Fridays. The other 5 days we are out hunting and harvesting ladybugs. We ship on
Tuesday and Friday.  Cut off time is 8:00 am, orders received after that will ship the next
shipping day.  By placing an order for ladybugs you have read and agree to these terms
and conditions.
Just for you non believers look at these results from tests we took:
For all packages that are left outside unattended anywhere that the sun may be on them for more than a few minutes regardless of the outside temperature above 85 degrees the temperature inside the box will increase 40 degrees in 30 minutes with over 50% of the temperature increase happening in the first 10 minutes.
The same holds true to packages left in mailboxes except mailboxes will have a higher temperature to start with.
85  in 10 minutes = 105 degrees
85 in 20 minutes = 115 degrees  deadly to ladybugs in 10 minutes
85 in 30 minutes = 125 degrees deadly to ladybugs in 5 minutes
95 in 30 minutes = 135 degrees
105 in 30 minutes = 145 degrees

We guarantee live delivery with the exception of bugs left by the carrier in mailboxes or parcel locker or other places that expose them to high heat. All claims for dead bugs will require the return of the entire shipment. Free return shipping.
We currently ship on Tuesdays and Fridays. We may ship on other days  but we never ship on Thursdays.
We usually ship the next shipping day after we receive a cleared payment.
Due to shipping liability there is a limit of 6 per order, no limit on amount of orders. Multiple orders may not always ship on the same day.
