1. Excellent chair for the normal-sized but if you're extra overweight...don't bother. The seating area is way to narrow. Wanted to get a return from Amazon but to do so wasn't gonna' happen. Needed to go thru the third-party channels and contact the seller. Read EVERY paragraph on the product to see if it will suit 'your' personal needs. 'Never used'...so that's + down the drain. (Maybe I can sell it?) The large seat area of the 'DMI' Portable Commode is comfortable and works great.
2. This product was delivered in a timely fashion, and is exactly as seller described. I'm not a 'handy' type person, and even for me, this is a cinch to assemble! It performs for the function it was designed for. The materials are good, and it is sturdy, but I would not think it suitable for an extra-large person. For the price, for the ease of assembly, for the maintenance of this commode - I am very pleased, and highly recommend it.
