AKAI GX 220D Reel to Reel GX-220D For Repair Right Channel Not Working

Hi!  You are bidding on an AKAI GX-220D reel to reel tape recorder.  This workhorse was built in Japan.   It is a three speed recorder (7 1/2, 3 3/4, 1 7/8 ips), and accepts up to a seven inch tape reel.
The machine is in very good condition cosmetically, with no dings, dents, or scratches.  All functions (reverse, fast forward, play, record, pause, vu-meters, headphone jack, etc.) work perfectly with one major exception.  The right channel does not record or play back.  Therefore, this unit is for sale to someone who loves these old machines, and is willing to take the time and effort to get it back up and running the way it was when it was first manufactured.
I have been unable to find the original owner's manual.  However, I do have the schematics, if that will be of some help.
Now for the bad news!  This machine is heavy!  With packaging, it clocks in at 50 pounds.  The only box which I have to fit the GX-220D is 18 x 19 x 14 inches.  Ebay usually offers a discount on shipping, which I will pass along to you.  However, I won't know what that discount would be until it's sold.  If you live within 25 miles of zip code 19805, I can deliver it for .00, and I'll also throw in 10 reels of tape (some of which are brand new).   Free local pickup is also available.  I'll still throw in the reels of tape!
I'll list it as USPS shipping.  UPS or FedEx will most likely be less with eBay's discount.
