A-172 New Product Line Series of Shell Kits are for the beginner model railroader. Basic body parts are supplied in this kit at an affordable price for the modeler that wants to step into O Scale 2 Rail Traction. The second shell kit introduced is the 41' Round End Flat Trailer w/lowboard Gondola sides, kit less trucks. Easy 3 piece shell assembly, modeler will have to supply all the detail parts.
With 2 steel rods embedded in the main floor for stability, weight and strength, all the modeler has to do is laminate the top layer floor board skin followed by gluing the gondola sides which is 1 piece. Glue it to the floor on a flat surface and clamping flat until dry. The modeler can take this kit to the limit with super detailing starting with the stake pockets enclosed with this kit of which 18 will be required.
The skin and gondola car sides and ends are printed with PLA plastic and the floor is printed with ABS plastic. The detail in these parts makes for a great starting point and makes these models very adaptable for realistic loads.
Sold as is straight off the Prusa Printer built plate, all sales final no returns. PLA is not dishwasher safe and may deform in a hot automobile in the summer time as it has a relatively low glass-transition temperature.
