  • Condition: good condition , no cutters, three thumb screws are missing, very good wood, freckling on the nickel plating.

    Description

    This is a nice early Stanley 45 Floral pattern nickel plated plane. There are no cutters and it is missing three of the thumb screws for the fences. The handle and knob are very good.

    This is not a type 1 1884 - 1885 plane. The main body is a late type 2 because the rivet is on the left side of the handle, and it has slotted brass screws. 1886 - 1887 The wood face wasn't attached to the fence until the type 7B model. 1895 - 1906 Types 1, 2, and 3 would have been Japanned Black, type 4 was the first plated plane.
