This extra-wide, heavy duty commode will make it much easier for those who have difficulty traveling to the bathroom or using conventional toilets. You can use it next to the bed or position it over the existing toilet as a toilet riser or safety frame. The platform is extra sturdy and can support up to 500 lb. The pail slides out from underneath for emptying. It holds up to 7 quarts and comes with a lid. The arms are handy for steadying yourself and getting up and down. But they can also be dropped down so it's easier to transfer someone across from a bed or wheelchair. Note: this commode is extra wide so measure your area before ordering.
