Dress up or customize your interior with Dupli-Colors High Performance Vinyl & Fabric Coating. Its perfect for vinyl seats, dashes, door panels, shifter boots, floor mats and consoles plus it's formulated with a maximum strength adhesion promoter so there's no need for primer. Just clean surface thoroughly and prep surface with Dupli-Colors Prep Wipe or Grease & Wax Remover. Vinyl & Fabric Coating is fast drying and wont crack, peel or chip. It dries to a durable, flexible and opaque finish that wont rub off. 2 pack. FOLLOW THESE TIPS FOR SUCCESSFUL, GENERAL AEROSOL PAINT APPLICATION: Always read specific can instructions to achieve maximum results. A clean, dry surface is important. Follow these preparation tips for best results: Remove dirt, wax, grease, moisture, rust and loose paint. Sand or scrape, if necessary, (sandpaper, steel wool, wire brush, scraper). Sand rusted, glossy or hard surfaces to improve adhesion. Paint in good weather only. 55 to 75 F is ideal; 40 to 60% relative humidity is recommended. Avoid direct sunlight and hot, humid weather. Observe the proper re-coat opportunities. See product directions for suggestions on when to apply a second coat. Dupli-Color lacquers can be re-coated anytime. Dupli-Color enamels re-coat within 1 hour or wait till after 5 days. Test a small surface area for paint compatibility. A smooth, even application is important. Follow these tips for success: Use an even, side-to-side motion with each pass beginning and ending beyond the edge of the object. Use a fan spray vs. regular spray distance to the object. Take your time. Use 3 light coats vs. one thick coat. Always check recommended recoat time. Avoid over spraying. Mask exposed areas with drop cloths. Clean up with appropriate cleaner-paint thinner or soap and water. Ensure adequate ventilation. HOW DO I GET PAINT TO STICK TO PLASTICS? Clean plastic with a water and ammonia based detergent solution, rinse, and dry thoroughly. Next use Dupli-Color Wax and Grease Remover to remove any silicone. Dupli-Color offers paints intended for plastic application such as our Bumper Coatings, Vinyl and Fabric Colors and Trim Paint. For maximum adhesion, some plastics may require Dupli-Color Adhesion Promoter. IMPORTANT NOTE: All spray paints must be shipped via Ground UPS (NOT 2nd Day Air); therefore, orders for spray paint will only be delivered within the 48 continental United States. In addition, there are no returns on paint, so it is very important that you choose your paint color carefully based on the Manufacturer's Paint Code.
