OFFERED ARE (5) FIVE LIONEL #249 & 250 ORANGE STRIPE LOCOMOTIVES - PARTS ONLY.  THE BREAKDOWN IS THERE ARE (3) #250 AND (2) #249 LOCOMOTIVES.  MOST OF THE SHELLS HAVE MINIMAL IF NO DAMAGE.  ONE ENGINE HAS BOTH MARKERS GONE AND ANOTHER ENGINE HAS ONE MARKER GONE.  OTHER THAN THAT, THEY ALL FEATURE METAL SIDE FRAME MOTORS WHICH IS CONSIDERED MORE DESIRABLE THAN THE PLASTIC MOTORS.  THESE ENGINES POSSIBLY COULD BE RESTORED TO RUNNING CONDITION.  TWO OF THE ENGINES ARE SHELLS ONLY #250.   SEE PICTURES FOR DETAILS.  THIS WOULD BE A GOOD RESTORATION PROJECT OR GOOD FOR PARTS AS WELL.  THIS IS FROM A 1939 RETIRED LIONEL SERVICE STATION THAT IS NO LONGER IN BUSINESS.  WE HAVE MANY LOTS FROM THIS SERVICE STATION FOR FUTURE SALES.
This is from a smoke free home.  Please ask any questions prior to bidding so there is no buyers remorse.  Payment is due within 3 days of close of auction.  We ship UPS as we have had issues with the post office.  We do our best to give you a reasonable cost on the shipping/insurance since the post office has raised their rates ridiculously, and we're not trying to make a profit on the shipping.  If there is a substantial overage, we will refund to you.
