    This auction is for nine vintage Gloster Meteor photographs, as shown in the images above.
    The nine photos show Gloster Meteor T.7 Trainer Prototype during a visit to Turkey in 1948. The prototype two-seat trainer was used in a demonstration tour to various countries including France, Italy and Turkey in the second half of 1948. It was later sold to The Royal Netherlands Air Force (KLu) and was the first to be delivered to the country as I-1. Photos show the arrival of the plane, taxiing and the pilot greeted by the local population.
    Each photo size approx. 6,5 x 10 cm inc. borders, in very good overall condition with some light handling wear, most have a number written in pencil on the back.
