Kenwood (Trio) solder in type filter for the Kenwood TS-120 TS-130 TS-430 TS-440 TS-450 TS-530 TS-690 transceivers and the R-5000 receiver. There may be more, read your owners manual to ensure that this filter will work in your application. Probably not a good idea in the TS-830S as this would limit the bandwidth to 1.8 kHz maximum.
It was carefully removed from a TS-530 that was parted out. This filter worked just fine before being removed. This is NOT the plug in type for the newer radios, it has to be soldered in. The center frequency is 8830 kHz and the width is 1800 Hz. It works quite well for fighting QRM
