I am selling many of my fine tools (Bridge City, Lie Nielsen, etc.).  Many of these tools are brand new, or have only been on display in my tool cabinets/chests.  Many are no longer made and are becoming hard to acquire.
This auction is for a Lie Nielsen Boggs Flat Spokeshave.  It is brand new and has not been used.  Blade has never been honed.  An absolutely beautiful tool and unsurpassed quality.
This will be a wonderful tool to add to your collection or to use when doing your finest hand tool woodworking.

The original Boggs Spokeshave is hefty and solid, weighing 12 oz. Designed for fine, precise shaping in all woods. Available with either a flat or curved sole.
Body is 10" long with a 1" wide flat sole.
The sole of the Curved Spokeshave has a gentle, 5" radius for working inside curves.
2" wide x 1/8" thick A2 blade.
Bronze body and cap.
Hickory handles.
Weight is 12 oz.
