You are looking at a true Lionel classic--the #47 Operating Crossing Gate
. This one has the operating arms that go up and down as the train passes. Great with O or Standard Gauge.
Do you run your PREWAR? Then you could grab this item, use it on your layout, and have the best of both worlds--the prewar Lionel look and the ability to play with the toy and enjoy it since the condition is not collector quality.

Works. Needs lights for the lamps. Tested and gates go down and back up. Clearly has been used on a layout and has paint and layout landscaping on it. Your call on whether to restore or use as is. See all the enlargeable pics!

If we made a mistake, we pay the return shipping. Items must be in the same condition as when we shipped. We cannot accept returns on orders that were shipped new and then opened. If there is a problem, such as an error in description or condition, we accept returns within 30 days.
