Description

Low Pass Filter Circuit Board - HF Version 2
Board is 1.6mm thick and will accept SMA end launch connectors and up to 20ga wire where cores are to be installed.
These fit nicely inside a 1590A aluminum enclosure (stomp box) and will likely perform better due to the shielding.
(will need to remove the SMA connectors if you install any)
Dimensions are 2.75" (70mm) x 1.25" (32mm)
Updated for capacitor sizes to CD15 (V1 was CD10 or smaller)
Lead spacing for the caps is 5.9mm and diameter of holes is .86mm.
Ground pads for the SMA connectors are slightly larger in V2 for easier soldering.
This is a shunt first, 7th order design with spots for 2 capacitors in parallel at each point, but only one required.
A great board for experimenting with different inductances and capacitances to achieve the curve you're looking for.
A Mill-Max 0415 (not 415) will work perfectly in the electrical connection (hardwired) openings.
(use 20-23ga wire if using the Mill-Max 0415, otherwise16 to 22 gauge works great)
