This listing is for a new TEAC Pinch Roller for many of their 1/4 in tape Reel to Reel  tape recorders, including all the A-2300, -2340, -3300, -3340, -3440, -4300, -6300 families and the X-3, X-7, X-10, X-20, X-1000 & X-2000 families and TASCAM equivalents of all of these, the 22-2, 22-4, 3030, 32-2/B to name a few
Please check in with me if you are not sure before purchase - shoot me the part number in the service manual for your deck. I have cross-reference data for the whole range so I can confirm for deck.
These are still being manufactured by TEAC. I have several in stock for my own refurbishments and intend to maintain a stock in future. Please note that the correct pinch roller is crucial for good wow & flutter performance and also for correct tape-head contact on the dual capstan decks (X series from X7 on and some Tascam).
There are some excellent services that will satisfactorily remanufacture pinch rollers, but you have to ship your rollers, wait in line for your turn and then have them shipped back. I'll ship these the next business day guaranteed and if possible same day, First Class or Priority Mail as you choose.
Please do not use replacement tires. Pros would use them if they gave acceptable results as they are cheap and would save our customers money but we do not, because the results are so poor.
