You are bidding on a bundle of over 100 pieces of O-scale
6x6
Basswood lumber.
Can also be used as S-8x8, #1-4x4 and 1/8"x1/8"
Most are 12" long, but there may be some shorts in the bundle as well.
Kappler's delivered retail price on these are
100+ pcs
So, what happens during the QC process is....
The lumber that does not meet Kappler's standards
gets pulled before the final cleaning.
If there are a bunch that are the same size then they are grouped together.
If not then they are just tossed into a pile and then you get a
"mystery group"
These are pulled during QC mostly for not being within tolerance, color/spotting or other imperfections.

A note on shipping:
For some reason, first class mail service through eBay is getting delayed and in some cases shipped to other states causing longer delays.
Packages end up being delivered in the end (so far), but it can take several weeks in some cases.
For those of you who are bidding and winning more than one auction, I would ask that you hold off paying until you are finished (within reason).
Grouping 3 or more auctions together allows me to ship via priority which has a much faster shipping time, better tracking/delivery and insurance included.
Once you pay, I have to ship within one day.
Also, if your package is not delivered, please let me know directly.
