TME has introduced the AC1STB94 Series Splicing Tabs, which use the same exact splicing tape as the best selling AC1S94B1C tape, except here this tape is offered in it's die cut version, meaning each splicing tab is pre-cut and ready for you to peel off the backer paper, and place on your splice.  This saves an awful lot of time and a lot of waste over using a roll of splicing tape, and you get an exactly sized and cut splice. The AC1STB94-100 are on a 3" plastic core for easy handling, too which beats handling a tiny 1" core used with normal rolls of splicing tape.
With a non die cut roll of splicing tape, you have to find the end, and then try to cut a nice angled piece of splicing tape with a scissors or somehow with a blade without contaminating the tape with your finger oils.  There's always so much waste, that we calculated many users waste at nearly half a roll of splicing tape!
These tabs are brand new, just manufactured, and to TME specifications.  Note: We used to sell
    Editall tabs
, the ones with the little red handles, but they haven't been made for around 20 years, and felt it was time to bring new tabs to the market since after 20 years the existing Editall tabs are way expired and most likely very shot.  Ours don't have handles, but that isn't necessary and quite expensive.  You can easily peel the tab off the roll and place it with your blade. (Don't use your fingers!)  Some people use an Exacto® knife with the 45 degree blade and it makes life wonderful. We use these knives religiously for editing and they're highly recommended and a good product.
The AC1STB94-100 as offered here is a 100 tab roll. To use, simply peel a tab off the backing paper
, center it over your splice, and apply.  Simple, easy, fast, and professional!™
Also available in 500 and 1000 Tab Bulk Rolls.
