    An ORIGINAL FROG MECHANISM for a Stanley No. 2 seven-inch length smoothing plane by STANLEY. This frog has the distinctive orange black japan finish on the sides that was used for a short period in the 1920's, coinciding with the production of Type 15 Stanleyplane. Fully 95% of the original paint remains on this extra clean frog mechanism. The original screws and washers to secure the frog mechanism to the plane body are included as well.
