Super rare OTARI MX-7308 8 channel reel to reel player
thoroughly cleaned, overall pretty nice shape and functions/works. No major cosmetic damage, minor wear over the years as seen in photos. All eight channels have input and output transformers, this is a really nice unit, retailed for over ,000 in 1975, similar in sound to ampex.
the cue switch seems a little bit goofy, but the tape lift levers work as they should. also, one button cap is missing on the remote. everything else is in-tact and seems to function as it should.
Heads appear to be in really good shape, rubber rollers are in excellent shape and not dry. everything appears to function.
I am not an expert on reel to reels, this unit is pretty spectacular in person. Will keep it in my studio, unless buyer interest.
