The Parish Of Trinity Church Seymour Connecticut Commemorative Medallion Talisman Pendant 200th Anniversary 1797-1997.
One side says this around the edges with a depiction of the actual church, very artistically etched into the metal, maybe pewter, not sure how to tell.
This side, holding it in hand, you actually get a 3 dimensional effect from the artwork, etching. The shading or something gives the effect of the church being in the foreground next to the trees. Very cool.
The reverse side depicts a shield with the trinity cross which has the shading as well, but the effect is not as pronounced at the church etching.
And the borders announce Matthew 28:18 - "Therefore go and make Disciples of all nations."
Medallion measures approx. 2 1/4" around.
