    Gate valves , Boiler valves etc. This is old school packing from the 50’s or 60,s it’s no longer made . I bought 2 rolls of this stuff from an old timy plumbing supply house in downtown Los Angeles It works great on fire pumps , tank agitators , fire hydrants etc. works best as a shaft seal where a slight drip is required to confirm seals not drying out. Superior to anything you can by today. Pricy but it works! No call backs!
