This super cute gnome stands guard against slugs, to protect your valuable flowers and vegetables.
Simply fill the cone-shaped base with beer (or commercial slug bait) to attract and kill slugs. Slugs are active mostly at night and are attracted to the smell of beer - even if the beer is old, stale, and flat. They'll crawl into the pool of beer and drown (happy!). For best results, place your traps near the edges of your garden beds, near rock piles or wood structure, to draw slugs out of their daytime hiding places and away from your plants. Check your traps after a night or two. Dispose of trapped slugs away from your garden, in your compost pile or trash bin, to avoid attracting more slugs to your plants. Large yards with several garden beds may require multiple traps to effectively reduce slug populations.
This dual-purpose slug trap/garden ornament is 3D printed from non-toxic, plant-based PLA plastic. The mushroom spots are applied by hand, and no two are identical. The gnome is hand painted with UV-stable acrylic paints.
