Hi,
here is a Stanley Bailey Number 5 Corrugated Bottom Jack Plane. This is a type 11, with 3 patent dates. It also has the "V" shaped Stanley logo on the iron. The plane is in usable condition.
The tote had been repaired in the middle, but its not the best of jobs. It is sturdy though. The front knob is fine.
The cheek corners on the front toe end are chipped off, as can be seen in the photos.
There is wear, scratches, dings, discoloration/staining, light pitting on the the plane sole, and lever cap.
The cutting edge of the iron is a little rough, and it will need to be tuned up.
The plane could use a little more cleaning.
