    Description

    One Stanley No. 9-1/4 Block Plane in the USA.  6 inches long and 1-5/8 inches wide.  General purpose block plane.  Used to plane small pieces of wood and the ends of trim, molding, etc.  The cutter is used bevel up.  The angle of the bevel is 25 degrees the angle of the bed is 20 degrees for a total of 45 degrees.  This allows easier planning of end grain.
