Teac X-1000R reel to reel reverse deck with built in dbx.
Luxury model with fake mahogany wood cover over the plastic grey one
Condition - serviced including complete strip down of all moving and covering parts, clean out and wash down, old melted belt clean up including clean up from all over inside of this deck, head cleaning, demagnetizing, stuck in down position pinch roller free up and new lube, all rotating switch clean up with deoxit, left/right tension switch and main button switchboard contact re-soldering ( left/right tension switches is what makes makes this deck to be a computer operated. There is some photosensors involved here ), tape tension on play and FF/REW adjustment ( was dropping pinch rollers down when play was engaged and winding wasn't right ) CAPSTAN MOTOR BOARD AND MAIN POWER SUPPLY BOARD FULL RECAP.
Fake wood case is in good condition with a few dings only.
Performance - perfect including super strong wind, auto stop, playback/recording outstanding, pinch roller drop and pick up every time the tape speed or reel size is changed when deck is in play mode works ( factory setting ), all dials, push button commands, timer programming, dbx option, reverse play and recording are working.
