  • Condition: Nice color and patina. Very slight wear to the plane, just a few old dings . Damage to 1 wedge [ broken end - still usable ].. Part of broken nicker wedge still in plane. No nicker. Wedge-arms are fine [ have brass tips ]. All brass parts are fine.----Note the old fastening system used on the arm to fence.     Description

    We're offering this fine old  beech-wood  wedge-arm sash fillester plane. The English plane was made by  A. MATHIESON & SON, GLASGOW & EDINBURGH [ all marked on the toe of the plane ]. No other marks. Blade width is 1-1/8''. The plane has no nicker and a broken wedge intact.  The plane is   9-1/2 '' long,   4-1/4'' tall  and 9'' wide at the arms. ......... CONDITION......[.SEE DESCRIPTION ]..............No chips or cracks or repairs.  Very nice sash  plane for your shop or collection.
