Top of the line rare Uher Royal Deluxe reel to reel tape deck. It is in
very very nice original well cared for condition. It has always been in a
non smoking climate controlled environment. It was made in the 1960s,
West Germany, when Uher was at the top of their game. It has the
incomparable vintage Uher design, craftsmanship, attention to detail,
parts quality, and potential performance that only vintage Uher decks
can produce. It includes a beautiful condition factory original dust
cover, Uher take up reel. It is loaded with nice features and does work,
but will need the necessary, typical and mandatory restoration that all
vintage tape decks requre. Usually new belts, cleaning, and
calibration. As far as I know it has never been serviced. It does play
and music comes out of both speakers, meters works, controls, work. I
cannot connect it to an amplifier or receiver as it has the vintage Uher
Din cable connectors which I do not have. You can buy Din to RCA or Din
to 1/4" adapters. I could not get the fast forward or rewind to work
and it may be operator error. I have never seen this deck before and
know that vintage Uher is the top of the line. The heads show no wear,
there are a few very very small and insignificant nicks on the cabinet,
beautiful well care original condition. It is quite heavy and has the
cool handle/stand at the bottom. It is loaded with nice features,1 7/8 +
3 3/4 + 7 1/2 speeds, Left/Right Level controls, Cool analogue DB
meter, Level/Multiplay/Echo control, Bass/Treble, Volume, Record,
Master control for 2/Echo/1/2/Syn Play/1/Mono 2/Mono
1/Stereo/1/Multiplay/2/Mono-Dia-pilot/Stereo, Amplifier,
Stop/Pause/Start, Fast Forward/Rewind, tape counter, 6 din input or
output connectors on the back, 2 dinL + dinR connectors on the front,
110/220 volt switchable. It powers up, plays, makes some mechanical
noises when playing, plays music on both left/right speakers. It will
need the necessary, typical and mandatory restoration/parts
replacments/calibration and possible repair for optimal performance. It
has excellent potential and is a beauty. The shipping cost includes safe
