Vintage 9" Sargent Smooth Bottom Woodworking Plane #408

This auction is for a Vintage 9" Sargent #408 Woodworking Plane. It is in fair used condition. Has dirt/dust, rust, coating loss, paint residue, and scratches throughout. Back wood handle is broken, loose, has chunk taken out of top, and has tape residue. I do not believe it is the original handle. Front wood handle has scratches, coating loss, and dirt. Blade is marked Sargent New Haven, Conn USA, has some small chips, and is 1 3/4" wide. Bottom of plane has some roughness to it. I do not know how well this would clean up. Measures 9" x 4 3/4" x 2 1/8". This is AS IS!! What you see is what you get. Please view pictures carefully.
