This is a vintage pin with some wear on the finish, mostly on the leaves on the top of the apple shape.
The lettering is readable.
No knowledge of whether the pin back closure was original to this pin.
Pin has been in a private collection for over 25 years.

Description:
This is a vintage City of New York Police Detective DEA, Detectives Endowment Association, lapel pin with pin back.  It has red enamel around the edge and is in an apple shape.
The center design is gold tone with some small accents of blue enamel.
The lettering reads:
City of New York Police
Detective
DEA
This is a small lapel size pin, which measures approximately 5/8” across the pin width and 3/4” tall.
