    Description

    I am selling this for a friend who is downsizing.  He got this transformer when he was a child in the 1940's or 50's.  Not being interested in trains, he put it in a box and stored it.  I do not know the age.  It is in excellent condition except for some tarnish spots that accumulated on the right side.  I did not try to clean it off as I am sure there is a special solution for cleaning this steel transformer.  Some scratching on the bottom from storage.  Marked:  Multi-Control TRAINMASTER Transformer Whistle Direction (buttons) Type 110 RW Watt 115 Volts 60 Cycles For Alternate Current Only The Lionel Corporation New York Made in U S of America.    Box poor shape.  Very heavy.  Dry, non-smoking environment.  I can quote standard shipping if you live west of the Mississippi.  Send zip.  I do combine shipping and use recycled packing.
