    Description

    Pine needle coiled baskets are an ancient Native American handcraft still being done today in different areas of the country where pine trees are abundant.  The bundles of pine needles are coiled, then sewn together with sisal or swamp grass.  This round basket is 6 inches in diameter & 2 inches tall & has 2 tiny pinecones attached to the front side.  It is in very good condition & is still tightly coiled.  Age & origin is unknown, but it is not new.  Ships USPS.
