Vintage Tascam Model 38 Reel-to-Reel Tape Recorder AS IS no reserve!

This auction is for a Tascam 38 reel to reel in as in condition. I bought this several months ago and it was damaged durring
shipping. The seller did not insure it, so we worked out a deal and I kept it. It suffered some pretty heavy damage. This is what I can tell you about the deck. Both motors spin when play, fast forward and rewind buttons are pushed. The capstan motor runs
when the tape guide is raised, but the shaft does not spin. This leads me to believe that it needs the belt replaced. All the meter
lights are working as seen in photo, but cannot guarantee they will when you receive the deck. The plastic back cover is not included, as it was broken in several pieces when I got it. I do not know if the inputs or outputs work. This deck is being sold as is with no guarantee of any kind and I will not accept any return for any reason. I will insure it for what it sells for, so if it suffers
any damage during  shipping you can turn in a claim with the carrier. I will pack very well, so should come thru fine. I am starting this auction off at .00 with no reserve. As I said this is being sold as is and I will not accept it back for any reason, so please bid only with this in mind. I will answer all questions about the deck to the best of my
