Vintage McCall's craft sewing pattern # 1659 is from 1951 and is now out of print and no longer available for sale in retail stores! This pattern is uncut except for two pieces which have been cut out and it is 100% complete with all pattern pieces, the yellow transfer sheet, the two playlet scripts, and the sewing instructions. This is an original vintage sewing and craft tissue pattern, not a digital copy or reproduction. The pattern envelope shows wear including tears and stains from age and 70 years of storage.
Pattern Description: This pattern includes a transfer, complete cutting patterns and directions for making a Puppet Theatre, five Hand Puppets (donkey, clown, ballerina, Santa and reindeer). The theatre
18 x 22 x 7 inches
is of simple construction, made of green poster board. The facade is trimmed with colored paper appliques and some hand painting. The puppets may be made from left over scraps of fabric. The scripts for two playlets "Santa and the Naughty Reindeer" and "The Sad Clown" are also included.
