    Description

    For sale is this vintage Stanley Bailey No. 3 smooth bottom plane, beautifully reconditioned by a previous owner, measuring 2-1/16" wide and 9-1/8" long. Signed "Bailey", No.3" and "Pat'd Mar-25-02  Aug 19-02  Apr-19-10" on the body, it has excellent sound and solid knob and tote handles. Signed "Stanley New Britain Conn.  U.S.A.", the 1-3/4" X 7" blade iron is excellent, and will respond well to honing and sharpening by a experienced hand. Any cleaning, oiling, and detailing is left up to you. Beautiful reconditioned example of a timeless classic by a world renowned maker.
